This person is wonders aloud to me why her non-Japanese friends can't name their baby DUE NEXT MONTH Ryuu after the Street Fighter character. Even despite the fact that it's virtually impossible for non-Japanese-speakers to pronounce. It was originally going to be Beckham. O rite, that wasn't after David Beckham.

I'm 5'6" and weigh 115 lbs. That is actually a little UNDERweight as far as I've read. I've lost about five pounds within the past two months since we've had less sugar around the house, but...
I'm getting fatter! WTF!? My clothes are actually fitting tighter!
Has anyone else ever had that happen? I'm constantly feeling conscious of myself now and I just feel like a flabby mound of fat. I'd sure like to know what's going on.
(Any by the way: No, it's not "that time of the month". This has been going on for quite a bit.)

I've decided to take up costume reproduction. I'll probably start with Regency and 20's stuff because they're just...flat...and move on to 1860's and maybe, someday, the costume-lover's greatest challenge - Rococo. (Oh, Rococo! DB Why must you be so needlessly detailed!?) I also wanna try my hand at corsets.
Maybe I can take commissions someday! (Someday a loooong way away.)
Examples of my favorites:
French Revolution (1780's-1790's)
I don't even know why I like this time. It's overdone but still has kind of a casual feel to it.
Regency (1797-1825)
I love Empire dresses in the first place. Especially Grecian dresses. But when you add flats and those awesome cropped jackets, you just get total and complete win.
Early 1910's/Titanic (1910-1914) - I actually specialize in the late 1910's, but only because that's when my characters live. I'm not a huge fan of the clothes.
Ooooh, Titanic. I saw it in theatres when I was little (yes, I'm a young one), and it scared me so much that I couldn't watch it again until a few years ago. The lowdown: Liked the disaster story, hated Jack and Rose. Especially Rose. WTF SHE COULD HAVE SHARED THE FLOAT WITH HIM AND SAVED THEM BOTH, BUT NOOOOOOO!
1920's (Especially early-to-mid)
AS IF YOU COULDN'T TELL, I feel a strong connection to the 20's. And it's not just because I happen to love silent movies.

Well, our last hope of stopping my trichotillomania is going to a hypnotherapist. Soooooo I was in a trance this morning! It's nothing like you expect it to be...it's more like you're awake while your body's asleep. You still know what you're doing and what you're saying, you've just got kind of a heightened state of awareness.
I'm going in again next week because my fear of fish is apparently abnormally severe. She wants to do some past life regression.

1:30: I can't take any pain medicine until 3:30.
The pain...The searing pain...
9:03: Still a little sore...Still bleeding...But I'm doing a lot better. There's almost no swelling because I've been using icepacks obsessively.
